Shakespeare Schools Festival at Artrix Bromsgrove

Shakespeare Schools Foundation is proud to present the world’s largest youth drama festival at Artrix Arts Centre.
Join us this autumn for an exhilarating evening of theatre, featuring a series of unique abridged Shakespeare productions by local schools.
See Shakespeare’s timeless stories brought to life like never before, and support young people from your community as they take to the stage.
Details of the schools performing at Artrix Arts Centre will be available from spring 2019 on SSF’s website: www.shakespeareschools.org/the-festival/whats-on
“Every child in every school ought to have the chance to experience this magical process.” Philip Pullman, Author and SSF Patron
Shakespeare Schools Foundation is a cultural education charity, transforming lives through the unique power of Shakespeare. Our annual Festival provides a platform for up to 30,000 young people to express themselves and grow in confidence as they take to a professional stage. In this, the 19th year of the Festival, we celebrate the infinite variety of work found across the project, as young people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities find their ‘voice’ in the school rehearsal room, culminating in a thrilling night of theatre.
