HotPod Yoga launches in Bromsgrove

Event Date & Times
  • Date: 5th January 2019 (Sat)
  • Time: All day event
Hotpod Yoga

Hotpod Yoga Bromsgrove founder Liberty Selvester-Webb, has lived in Birmingham her whole life,

working in the fitness industry for the past 6 years. Liberty first stepped into a pod 5 years ago and

completely fell in love with its immersive and restorative environment. It brought a completely new

dimension to her perception of health and wellbeing, and after seeing and feeling the benefits first hand

she knew it was something that she had to share with others. Since then Liberty has completed her yoga

teacher training at Hotpod Yoga HQ and now she can’t wait to introduce her passion to the people of

Bromsgrove and allow the community to zip themselves away from the screens, stresses and situations

of the outside world, enjoy a good sweaty stretch and leave relaxed, recharged and ready for real life.

Already established in over 50 locations around the world, Hotpod Yoga is seeking to encourage

customers to adopt a ‘yoga designed for real life’, leaning away from today’s stereotype of bendy

Instagram goddesses and green juice guzzlers. Instead customers are encouraged to adopt a yoga

centred around their life; to stretch out the office hunch, release the cyclist’s hamstring, revive the

partied-out festival-goer and realign the childbearing arm – to supercharge real life, whatever that may

mean.

Liberty’s experience with Hotpod mirrors this sentiment, ‘I have worked in the fitness industry for years

and I had tried yoga numerous times before, but always felt like something was missing and I found it

hard to switch off during classes. A friend then recommended I try Hotpod; I did a class and was

immediately hooked. Hotpod completely changed my perception of yoga, the classes are the perfect

balance of high energy and physically challenging postures whilst still leaving you feeling mentally

clamed and refreshed. After regularly attending classes I made the decision to do my Teacher Training

at the Hotpod Yoga HQ in London. Whilst I was there, I realised it was something I wanted to share

with people beyond the realms of teaching, so I took the leap and bought my very own Hotpod home

to bring back to Bromsgrove with me. Now that everything’s set up and ready to go, I can’t wait to

share the benefits of with as many people as possible.’

To celebrate the launch of Hotpod Yoga Bromsgrove, there will be a weekend of complimentary

taster classes on the 5th and 6th January. After that we recommend everyone buy an intro offer

which gives you one week of unlimited yoga for £12; after that regular Hotpod Yoga Bromsgrove

classes will be priced at £10 for a single class, £45 for a 5 class pass and £80 for a 10 class pass as

well as a mini membership (one class each week) for £30 or a complete monthly membership for

£65. All bookings must be made online in advance online at https://hotpodyoga.com/uk/yogaclasses/

Max Henderson, co-founder of Hotpod Yoga, said of the venture, ‘From student, to teacher and now to

Franchisee, Liberty is the perfect brand ambassador! We can’t wait for her to introduce Bromsgrove to

the magic of Hotpod Yoga.’
Misconceptions about Hotpod Yoga

  • We attend to the 99%, not just the 1%.
  • We are not a bouncy castle. If you bounce on us, you’ll hurt yourself.
  • We don’t pop up, we inflate.
  • We only travel with our portable pods – our permanent pods are found at Hotpod homes around the world.
  • We’re not Bikram – we like it more flowing, less regimented and in a much better smelling environment.
  • We don’t like it as hot as Bikram – we’re only heated to 37 degrees, which means no headaches, no over-stretching, no dizziness, but equal sweat!

Hotpod classes are held in our custom-created, inflatable pods. Dim-lighting, beautiful scents, and

down-tempo beats create a cocoon-like environment for up to 20 yoga-goers. The pods are heated to

37 degrees to help melt you deeper into your practice whilst being carefully and personally guided

through a flow of active and passive postures to open the body, work the heart and calm the mind in

equal measure. Permanent Hotpod Homes can be found throughout the UK, South Africa, Netherlands,

Germany, Portugal and Romania. Additional portable pods mean Hotpod Yoga can also inflate

anywhere (most recently seen on the Austrian Ski Slopes, at Wilderness Music Festival and weekend

trips across the UK) and boast the same great experience. Hotpod Yoga continues to inflate and expand

both within the UK and internationally.
