An Evening of Honour Chateau Impney Droitwich

You are cordially invited to attend ‘An Evening of Honour’ Celebration and Fundraising event presented by Breaking the Silence (BTSUK). The event takes place on 7th March 2020 at Chateau Impney in Worcestershire (30 mins from Birmingham City Centre)

The evening will include entertainment and performances, recognition of the survivors, a 4 course meal and presentations from advocates of these areas. We have a line up of celebrity guests.

BTSUK is a Birmingham based charity that was established to raise awareness surrounding the untold impact of domestic abuse, forced marriages and human trafficking. The main aim is to empower victims and equip them with the tools and resources to make changes and break the silence of abuse in their lives. We would be unable to provide the life transforming services that we do, without the generous support from organisations such as yourselves.

Founder and Director of BTSUK Raj Holness is a survivor of domestic abuse and 2 attempted forced marriages. She stayed silent for 20 years having no way to share her story, but when she discovered the courage to break the silence, a social enterprise was born. Raj has won several prestigious awards for the work of BTSUK including Forward Ladies The National Highly Commendable Inspiring Leader Award 2017, Forward Ladies The Midlands Regional Inspiring Leader Award 2017 and more recently the Universal Peace Federation Women of Excellence Award 2018.
