We’re looking forward to hosting a range of fun and engaging activities for children of all ages this May Half Term!

Join us in our 19th century Tollhouse and get ‘bready’ to bake as we introduce families to baking in our traditional 1822 bread oven.

Our workshop leaders will run interactive bread making courses where you can have a go at making your own loaf, from grinding your own flour to baking it in the 19th century oven – and of course you can take your loaf home with you afterwards!

Our costumed interpreters will also be on hand to help you take a step back in time!

Outdoor Nature Trails:

We'll also be hosting some fun half-term nature trails to celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week.

Come and join us on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during May half-term week and take part in our mini-beasts and flower trails. Your little hunters can immerse themselves in our beautiful grounds and get up close and personal with a host of critters that call Avoncroft home, as well as our beautiful array of wildflower!

Normal admission applies, with a suggested donation of £2 for the bread making course to help us to cover costs.
